A Round Robin Quilt - ALYOF June Goal

A few years back, I used to lead a group of quilters that loved to work in Kaffe Fassett fabrics.  Each month we would share projects made with his fabrics and plan great group activities.  One of the activities we did were round robin quilts.

I think this quilt top was from the first round robin we did.  This top was made by myself, Sheila Sinclair Snyder (Licence to Quilt), Lisa Bee-Wilson (Towerhouse Quilts) and my good friend Penny.

I had pieced the center garden lady and passed it to Penny who added the hilarious barking dogs. (I am sure there is a mug shot or two of Penny's dog somewhere - she is quite the misbehaving mutt!)  Sheila then added the great striped sawtooth borders and Lisa finished it off with the top and bottom borders.

Sadly, this has been hidden away in the closet because I have not gotten around to quilting it.
I think it is time to get this quilt finished so I can enjoy it.

To help ensure I folow through, I am making the completion of this quilt my June goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes with Sew Bittersweet Designs.  I hate to not achieve goals I set for myself so linking up with these Finish-Alongs really helps to keep me on track.

And maybe this little barking dog at my heels will help a bit too!

What lovely colours! The Finish a Long sounds a great idea. I am well known for not finishing projects :(.
I'll have a look at your links now though :)

I made one of those little paper pieced dogs, super cute pattern. How wild to use the Martha Negley cross cut log print for the dogs. Your quilting will make this quilt come to life!
