Dear Quilty : Geese Migration Quilt

I am not sure that I shared with you that my Geese Migration quilt ended up on the cover of Mary Fons' book Dear Quilty.

This book is a compilation of twelve quilts selected from the 4 years Quilty magazine was published.  I am honored to have my quilt on the cover!

If you hurry over to Sew Mama Sew, they are currently hosting a giveaway for a copy of the book.  There are some beautiful quilts in the book and the patterns are perfect for beginners and advanced quilters alike.  Sew Mama Sew also have available a Geese Migration Quilt PDF Tutorial so you can make the quilt yourself if you want to tame your scrap bins!

If you do make the quilt, I hope you share it with me!

Congrats on being on the cover. It's a beautiful quilt... no wonder they chose it. Being it was only published for four years you are in rarified air there.

I love flying geese and I love scrappy, Your quilt is beautiful and has the best of both worlds. You truly have a talent to convert trash to treasure! When you make someone (me) want to hurry through the quilt they are making so they can have scraps, you have accomplished something big!

So now you are a "Cover Girl" quite literally! I would share this book with my friend Gloria. She wants to learn quilting but she doesn't think she has the time!
