Oh Scrap! : Rainbow Scrap Challenge Blocks

I am happy to report, I have sewn up all of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks for the month!  The color for March is purple, which is one of my favorite colors.

First up was a kaleidescope of butterflies for my RSC16 Sampler quilt. Angela had not released a pattern yet when I started making these little blocks so mine might look a little different than others.

I also made a couple of chain blocks and a purple piglet.

Here are all my chain blocks together.  They look a bit of a mess but I do have a plan for them.  It will be a lot more colorful when I am finished with it!

And here are my three little pigs I have completed so far.  This month, I made my pig a bit larger.
I have no idea what I am going to make with these blocks but I sure do enjoy their company in my sewing room.
(If you want to make some of your own, here is the pattern.)

Love you butterflies. And pigs, too! I'm partial to purples, too. Carry on your stash-busting ways! Always great to see what you come up with.

Your butterflies really are about to take off in a second. I like that. I'm trying to resist piggies, not to mention cats, foxes, fish and flamingoes. We will have to open an international zoo to house them all.
