Blue!

It has seemed like forever since I sewed some Rainbow Scrap Challenge blocks!
I have really missed them!!

In 2018, I will be continuing to make 8" bowtie blocks in Kaffe Fassett fabrics.  Here are 7 more finished blocks to add to the pile.

Next up will be more of these "ladder" blocks.  I see the blue ones already have an issue as they are sewn up differently.  Fix them?  I think I will just need to keep them as is and make them part of the design - I have a feeling I will be making them differently all year long!

Then I have some blue blocks to make for my multi-colored string quilt and my Burgoyne Blocks are in blue so I can make a few of those!

And Angela announced that there will be a RSC18 sampler that she is co-hosting with Mari from Academic Quilter.  I think the first block design will be released later this week and I can already say I don't think I will be able to resist!

It feels so good to be playing with my scraps again!

Funny! I thought you made the blue ladder blocks different on purpose. Day 2 and you have already accomplished more than I will in all of January!!! Sigh...

I hope to get some more scrap quilting in.
Your ladder blocks look good. What will you be using them for.

Good idea to leave the ladders as is for now. Both your sets look great.

Your bow ties are pretty.

Oo, those ladders are really cool! Depending on layout, the "difference" might be a complete non-issue. For instance, if you rotated every other block so the black rectangles are horizontal. Are you thinking the ladders will stand alone, or have an alternating block?

Beautiful Bowtie in Kaffe Fasset. Just did mine in Civil War prints and hung it as a shower curtain.

Those Kaffe Bow Ties are wonderful. I can't believe you have so many Kaffe fabrics.

I hate ripping so I'm with you...I'd leave the Ladder as it falls!
