Four Patch Finish

I feel like finishes have been pretty slow around here lately.  I just haven't found much time to sew.

But I did get my scrappy 4 patch colorwash quilt all quilted up and bound.

This quilt was a great scrap buster.  It is 100% from the scrap bin!

It  is made from 2.5" squares.  Each 4 patch is made with two fabrics - a print and a solid.
However, you could use whatever size square you wanted to.

I have been wanting to find a home for this multi-colored fabric.  It worked perfectly on the back.  For the quilting, I simply quilted a squiggly line along the 4 patches.  I also used Hobbs Polydown batting so it adds a bit of poof to the quilt.

I am not sure where this quilt will end up.  It will just have to stay with me for a bit until it finds its home.  I really should test it out with a little nap before I pass it on!

Have a great weekend!

Lovely quilt. I definitely think you should test it out for a while to see how comfy it is and then you will know where to gift it. I know it will be well loved.
