Oh Scrap! : Next Steps

Last night, I finally found some time to sew a few more scraps.

I have been using scraps to make 6.5 x 9.5" slab blocks in red, pink and orange.

I am now making a scrappy slab of low volume prints (3.5 x 9.5") to sew to one side of the slabs.
I love it when my quilts end up being made from 100% scraps!

*********************************************************

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Quilting is more fun than Housework

I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing with these blocks! I've been thinking I might work towards one of the quilts from Kelly's book. I have to go back and look at it again and see which ones I was interested in making. Enjoy your Sunday!

It's funny but working with scraps is something I really enjoy, even just the cutting and sorting bits. Stress free I guess.

Hi Cynthia, Great job using up those scraps! Using all warm colors is a sure bet, too!
