Oh Scrap! : Last Orange RSC Blocks

I was able to come just under the wire!
Even though today is the first day of March, I did finish my last RSC orange block in February.  Whew!

I think these 6" little blocks are called Bright Hope.   I have been grouping nine of them into a giant block and them framing them in a solid.  I think these finish at 20".

This project was carried over from last year.  I am not that attached to this quilt and I think I am just continuing to work on it because I have already spent so much time on it.  I just need three more blocks (yellow, turquoise and gray) and I can finish it up.  With March being teal/turquoise, that will just leave two - I might just finish it up in March and start something new.

I have been thinking about an idea with log cabin blocks....
Hmmmm

I can totally understand your thinking you might not want it to grow any longer, I have a project like that held over from last year - I'm thinking of turning it into a table mat - I'm not feeling the love anymore for it

Those are cute blocks with a lot of eye candy. That's going to be a big quilt.
Uh oh, you are "thinking about an idea with log cabin blocks". That means I need to avoid your blog for awhile - lol!

I like the way you cut up the brown one to create a staggered setting. Someone will love it so keep going.

it's a great scrap buster. Too bad you fell out of love for it. I'm sure it will be adopted by a child. Hang in there; the end is near. ;^)

I like the way the solid border around each color gives it a frame. All the colors together are going to make something very fun! Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!

I like how you grouped the blocks and framed them. You'll be done with it in no time and then can move on. It is hard to stay focused on a project you aren't attached to. After all the work you put into each block, it's well worth finishing though!

You may not be in love with the quilt, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a GREAT quilt!!

I love your scrappy blocks, and the solid frames are a great idea. But there's nothing like a brand new project, especially log cabin! Have fun!

But I enjoyed your work, Cynthia!! I loved all the colors and the ones that are going to be done this month. I am sure that this will one you are going to be proud of. I am requesting you to upload the picture once it is finished and also waiting for your new project with log cabin blocks. Sounds interesting!!
