Oh Scrap! : More RSC Blocks

It seems that I have taken on a number of Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilts this year.  So I have been keeping pretty busy making all my pink blocks.

The first blocks I made this week were the ones made from my Well Suited pattern.  This is the first module of my Scrap Mixology pattern series.  When I make my flying geese, I immediately turned the bonus triangles into those cute little pinwheels.  I am not sure yet what I am going to do with them.

I also made the blocks I have been planning using my Two Bits pattern.  I have been wanting to make some scrappy churn dash blocks but I decided to use this Scrap Mixology concept to float them in a scrappy low volume background.

Here are the two projects so far...

As you can see these Scrap Mixology patterns all make great RSC blocks.  Each pattern shows you lots of options on how to come up with your own unique quilt design with just some simple changes.

I can tell already I am going to need a bigger RSC design board!

Happy Scrappy Sunday!

You've got good blocks going for RSC 2021. Sewing those HST's right away is a very smart idea, use them right away. Happy stitching!

I love all your blocks. I was a bit stunned when I saw the Well Suited blocks separated so that they were not arranged according to one color. I love the mixed arrangement! I can't wait to see how this future quilt develops.

Looks like you're having lots of fun playing with pink! I love the churn dash blocks surrounded by low volume strings. Those will be pretty in every color!

I'm not usually a fan of the churn dash block, but I love it the way you've done it. You've got some great projects going. I like watching your design wall progress.

I'm really liking the churn dash blocks floating on the backgrounds. Not something I would ever have thought to do.

I keep trying to decide what I want to do for RSC this year. I signed up for a Table Runner challenge using the RSC color so I may just do that. Time will tell.... Two years ago I did 3 different blocks for RSC. 2 are waiting in the to be quilted closet and one hasn't been put together. I guess I really don't need anymore unfinished projects! But, ooh I like your pinks.
