I follow a blogger named Gene Black and he to uses the cutter to cut scraps into usable shapes. I have started cutting but not sewing back together. suemachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00274108215277727979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648491809254365804.post-18783825046702681402015-07-19T16:03:50.657-07:002015-07-19T16:03:50.657-07:00I do not have one of these fantastic cutters. This does remind me of the letter and shape cutting I used to do at the elementary school when I volunteered (about a zillion years ago)
I am excited for you. I can't believe I can cut out a quilt in minutes instead of hours. at first I thought I might have made a mistake. I thought I should have bought the sizzix. their dies, I believe are cheaper. but I think long and hard before I buy a die. I try to really to get ones that I will use all the time. also, I look everywhere for the best price. I also ask for dies for christmas, birthdays, etc.

I think it is the best investment I have ever made.

it would be wonderful to get the electric one. but that is a BIG expense. so not for a while. BTW, you can't use your Joann's coupons on the Go cutter or dies. it says on the coupon. BUT watch the sales. then run to the store!!!! good luck..Lorene Holbrookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16960577282658406134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648491809254365804.post-91343250462401877462015-07-19T12:01:06.294-07:002015-07-19T12:01:06.294-07:00SInce we emailed I too am saving my pennies for th...SInce we emailed I too am saving my pennies for this. There's also the Sizzez system that I've seen on Victoria WOlfe's blog. I'm also going to see what JoAnnes carries as I always have coupons for there!Val's Quilting Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09451000559295763123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648491809254365804.post-13632421821057420112015-07-19T11:51:03.906-07:002015-07-19T11:51:03.906-07:00I'm like you. I'm not a scrap quilter, mainly due to the fact I'm a control freak but another reason is the thought of cutting all those bits of fabric into useable pieces. Who knows, with a cutter I may changeGinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16302065755663279757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648491809254365804.post-52382283388947556322015-07-19T08:20:33.935-07:002015-07-19T08:20:33.935-07:00I bought the studio before the smaller machines we...I bought the studio before the smaller machines were available. I love being able to cut out hundreds of squares and strips in just minutes.
You do need to have a designated place to keep The studio as it does not fold up. With the studio you do not need to cut your fabric into smaller pieces. Good luck with your decision.Norecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17748548905471054513noreply@blogger.com
