No more time to mess around! These rolling stone blocks have been on and off my design wall for months. Looks like I first wrote about them way back in March.
I really hope to get them sewn into a finished quilt by the end of the month!
I now have a total of 30 blocks finished.
I admit I have been stalled a bit figuring out a layout. Time to just make a decision and sew up the quilt top. I have some unique plans for the backing so I had better get started!
Take a look at what others are hoping to accomplish this month over at Sew BitterSweet Designs. I am really hoping to get my act together this month and be one of the ones who link up a finish!

Happy colours for a summery quilt here! I'm intrigued by your hints about the back...
I'm looking forward to seeing this one done...it's so pretty!
Love the blocks, such summery fabrics
Yup and like a rolling stone, you will gather no moss either. The quilt is looking great Cyndy and it's going to be fun to see what those plans for the backing you spoke of are.
Teasing us about the back, eh? Should be fun to see it all come together. I love those blocks.
That is a great block, and it was fun to go back and read your original post about it. Are you going to have it done for your niece to take to college? Lol! I bet it will make a beautiful and happy quilt!
I love those blocks, they look really effective. :0) xx
Very fun blocks, and I love the colors you've picked! So happy.
I like this idea for using up squares - a very happy quilt!
Love the summery colors you're using. Looks like you've made great progress with your 30 blocks, too!
I came to your blog today through a link up, and I wondered if you might be interested in joining in another link up. My mom and I post one each Friday called Crafty Comment Karma, for people to link up any of their crafting, quilting or sewing posts. It's open for the whole week until the next one goes up, so I hope you think about joining us! Link-up located here: http://bit.ly/1FT3LsD
I just linked over and found your site! Love your blocks, they are beautiful and look so perfect. Have fun making the decisions for finishing the quilt. By the way, it is really nice to know that you are an Oregonian....I live in Grants Pass! Are you as hot as we have been? Thankfully today it is sprinkling a very few raindrops and we are covered with clouds! Have a great day!
I like everything you make! Very pretty blocks. You are a machine. :)
