Oh Scrap!

Thanks to an ice storm that hit Eugene on Wednesday, I have been without power. So there will be no linky party this week! Hope we thaw out soon so the repair people can get to us!

Send warm thoughts - the novelty of it all is wearing thin!

Oh my goodness! Have you been without power since Wednesday? I hope you're staying warm! I've been wondering about Eugene, because I heard stories about Portland from friends whose kids live there. Hope it's not much longer before you are back to normal. We're having an Arctic freeze here. Windchills below zero. Brrr!

Weird weather everywhere. In mid-TN we are under a tornado watch till 9, then frozen precip in the morning. So far I think we've missed the strong storms and if we do have sleet in the morning, the ground is too warm to stick.

Oh, my goodness! Stay warm! I hope they get the power going again soon! Good luck!

Hoping for power SOON. You can't get much sewing done if it's freezing and your lights are out!!

Oh no! I hope you have stayed warm and had everything you need. It was crazy here in Portland too, but I was lucky to have my family home safe and warm and the power stayed on, even though the internet was a bit spotty.

Stay warm! You all have been hit hard in Oregon! We are headed out of California coming north tomorrow, hoping we won't hit too many driving challenges!

Stay safe, I hope you have back up heat! It's -15 here this morning, but we have power so no problem. Take care.

We had an ice storm here in Missouri too, but so far, have kept our power. I've been there, done that, so know what you're talking about.

You guys have been getting hit with it this year! Hopefully power will be restored soon. It isn't any fun after the first hour! We had 65 degree weather yesterday with a drop of 30 degrees in a matter of hours. Woke up to freezing rain! Awww...winter!

Yikes! Poor girl. I hate being without power. YOu must be sewing by hand and candlelight this season... if you get to sew at all with all the other pressures. LeeAnna

Hope all is back to normal by now. Oregon weather is so weird, I live about 45 miles just south of you about 2 miles off the freeway and we did not get one drop of that rain, just darn cold. Stay safe

Such a crazy weather world right now. We would love some rain over this side of the world. Hope you are warming up now and able to stitch in some way. Warm hugs, Clare

Hi! We got our power back Sat. night around 9. I hope yours is back on by now.

Hope the power is back now. We have some massive ice storms in Oklahoma. The last big one, one of the ladies I work with didn't get power back for a month because the storm took not only the lines, but broke the polls!

RIght! Old man winter has arrived with a vengeance! The ice storms are the worse!! Just so damaging! We just finished dealing with frozen pipes...it froze from the house to the street....which we couldn't get as the pipe is buried under three feet. Need less to say...the water is trickling in the downstairs sink! LOL!!!! Stopped by to say high....I'm making some scrappy sewing part of my new years list. :) Merry Christmas friend.

I waved when we went through Eugene! We stopped for pizza and the trees were still half covered with ice! Hope you are staying warm!

I think that might be the same storm that resulted in the repair that took out my furnace! Hope everything is working properly for you now. Being cold and in the dark is no fun at all.
