I have been so busy lately, I almost forgot to share with you that another one of my quilts was published.
My Strawberries + Cream quilt can be found in the Nov/Dec 2013 issue of Quilty magazine. WooHoo!!
It is a fun and unique variation on a simple log cabin block.
The quilting on this one is quite heavy. The red areas are all straight lines quilted about 1/2" apart and the gray areas are all done in pebble quilting. The quilt measures about 74" square so it took some time and a ton of thread to complete it.
Updated this post to include a video from QNNtv where this quilt is being used! Pretty cool huh!
Thanks for stopping by!

Congrats on the publication, Cynthia! What a lovely quilt! And what a lot of work!
A job well done and deserving of praise.
Congrats on the publication! Your pattern is such a unique take on the way color can be used to make the log cabin block do something entirely new.
That is so awesome! Congratulations :)
Heck yeah woo hoo!! That is fantastic! Congratulations, she's a beautiful quilt!
Log cabin quilts are some of my very favourite, and this is a gorgeous take on it.
How cool is that!! You go girl!! Every time I pick up Quilty, I immediately have ten more
Projects to do :))
This is just adorable! I haven't seen a log cabin done in just 2 colors!
I love this combination! I have avoided doing log cabins for a while but this could be a good reason to do it again! :-)
Beautiful quilt and fabulous job on the quilting! Congratulations on getting another quilt published. I will have to stop by and pick up a copy of Quilty.

Girl you are on a roll! Love it. I think Quilty is my favorite magazine...and I get way too many. Love seeing you in there.
Congrats on the publication! I love the non-tradition look you made with the traditional log cabin block.

WTG! I really need to get a subscription to that magazine so I can stop going out and buying copies with your articles in them! Love the quilt, the colors and the quilting.
Cynthia congratulations! That's one beauty. You know I love log cabins. I'll get my copy this weekend.
I just saw this quilt on Pinterest and I wanted to say Congrats on getting published. I was also lucky enough to find this magazine on eBay, so I's buying it. Lucky me, huh? It's so beautiful I just have to make it.
