It is that wonderful time again!! The big biannual event we all look forward to in May. So many blogs to check out, giveaways to enter, and projects to be inspired by. Yep, it is Giveaway Day hosted by Sew Mama Sew.
Before I get to the giveaway, I just want to remind everyone of my Scrap-A-Palooza series of quilts. Each month, I share my process in making a scrap quilt from my scraps. Then at the end of each month, I not only provide some simple quilting ideas and share my finish, but I also feature the quilts from others who are using the same patterns to make their own quilts from scraps. So let's just get to the reason all of you are here!! I decided to share some of Moda's Mirabelle collection by Fig Tree and Co. with one lucky reader. The winner will be chosen randomly.

My favorite flower is the rose, in almost any color. Then I like daffodils, crocuses, pansies, geraniums, impatiens-almost any flower, really.
Hi. I always loved the green in the Fig Tree collection. Favorite flower (I had to do a Google Translation) is Daylily, much easier to grow than lilies and all the red bugs eating them.

Picking a favorite is hard! I think my favorite is a wild flower called Fireweed. It's lavender color, tall and spindly, and presents with such a nice spray of color.

I love Cosmos, the colors, shape, delicate foliage, and long blooming time. Since moving to Texas I have learned to love Bluebonnets which grow in absolute profusion in fields and along the highways and Texas Mountain Laurel with it's delicate color and delicious fragrance.

Lilacs are my absolute favorite flower and scent. Doesn't matter if they are the white ones, the dark purple or the lighter violet, I love them all
