Clear back in April, many of you spied some fun orphan blocks up on my design wall when I shared progress on a string quilt I was making. My hope was to join Sarah for her Design Your Own Sampler at Sew Mama Sew but due to a hectic schedule, I sadly decided to put them away for a later date.
Well, I am rewarding myself and incorporating these blocks into my July goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes. Yep, I finally get to play with something new!
I tossed the blocks up on the design wall along with some other already cut fabric bits The blocks all came in a scrap bag from a friend so it will be fun to create a lovely quilt from them. I'm using a yummy paprika peppered cottons by Studio E Fabrics for the background fabric. I'm excited to see this one progress!
Thanks Sew Bittersweet Designs for hosting such a great event!

Love your blocks - so colorful! How is your design wall constructed? (Hopefully) I'll be moving to a new house soon, and will want a new idea.
Hugs
