Three More CIL Finishes

Whew!  I am just stacking up the finishes lately!

Today I am ready to share the last three Covered in Love finishes for Kat.

All of these quilts were made from her "Scrap Bin Geese" block drive.   I really enjoyed working with these blocks because there are SO many layouts you can create.

First up is to simply align the blocks so that you have vertical gray and light columns.

(Sorry - another very wet day so I had to take photos of the quilts on my longarm frame again.)

I quilted some irregularly spaced vertical line on it.

On the back is this wonderfully vibrant green fabric.  It really looks fantastic with the bright green geese on the front.

Next, I did a stepped layout.  The stack of blocks I used for this quilt were very diverse in their intensity.  I think this layout would work best with more consistent blocks.

I used a lovely gray ringed fabric and the rest of the vibrant green fabric on the back of this quilt.  I quilted it with my go-to swirl quilting.

My favorite layout is this "pinwheel" version.  I really like how it turned out.

Swirl quilting again!

I don't usually like "light" quilts but I really like the look of this one.  On the back is a white with gray blue little floral.  I also bound it with a creamy light binding.

So that is the last of the seven Covered in Love quilts I did for Kat.  I will be sending off a big box to her next week.

Now I can focus on the second block drive I am doing for my Compassion Quilt projects.  You can read more about it by following this link.  There are three different blocks you can choose to make.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

So many seams to match in the first one but it looks great. I love it. Actually, I love them all. Maybe the second one is a notch above the others, lol. Great job on all of them, Cynthia. Bravo! ;^)

Cynthia, Those flying geese look wonderful. I barely remember making those. You really have a knack for these quilt layouts! I have one more silly question. Can the four patches be any combination of red, white and blue? Or do you want white as one of the colors? Thanks
