I have to say, it has been kind of quiet around here lately. A lot of the elves are busy helping Santa right now. The mail carrier hasn't been stopping at my porch too much lately. And I have been taking a few extra naps. It is nice to have a break so it might be this way until the new year comes around.
There are still some quilts that are getting finished. Here is the 10th Jewel Box finish. We received a LOT of blue blocks so you will probably see quite a few more all blue quilts. This one has a nice subtle striped print on the back that was sent in by Karen.
This quilt measures 64 x 72".
Elizabeth sent in this lovely quilt top. I had sent it off to local quilter Kelly to finish and I definitely gasped when it came back. The colors are so pretty. And the print that Nancy sent in looked like it was made for the quilt. It is super soft too - maybe a voile?
This quilt is about 60 x 72" too.
Did you guys see the Fisher Price collection of fabrics that came out? This is the panel that came with it. Kristin added a cute plaid border to it and sent it to us. Kristin also sent in this cute backing.
It all made a very adorable quilt.
This quilt measures about 48 x 54".
Kristin was the person responsible for the big flannel and kit hoard that was leap frogged here to Oregon. A few days ago, she found another person heading to Eugene and sent more fabric and kits. This little scrappy beauty was one of them. Not only did she put together the top and backing but she included a batting. I had a bit of time one afternoon and it was an easy one to grab and finish. Love the soft flannel turtles!
This cutie is about 40" square.
As you can see, Janet is in her elfin element right now.
Silly Christmas sweaters and mistletoe head gear.
I am very much a Bah Humbug, but she did talk Arthur into joining in on the fun. He zoomed around the room and collected kisses.
I should have a few more to share Friday!
