It was a Busy Week!

I recently shared some of the smaller quilts finished this week.  We also had some larger lap quilts cross the finish line too.

This quilt top has been finished for a while, but it had to wait in the queue until it was needed.  I had sent a fat quarter bundle to Jeanine and she sent me back some quilt tops.  This is one of the RWB ones she did.  The backing fabric came from Kat.

I have a big box filled with old fat quarters that were gifted to me years ago.  I decided to pull some coordinating ones and send them off to Barb - she made this quilt top from them.  I love turquoise and orang together.  I even donated the backing for this ne.  I sent it off to local quilter Laura, who also sewed the binding on for us.

Recognize this block pattern?  This quilt top was made from blocks from our last block drive by Cynthia.  She made the blocks and them sewed them p into this layout.  She used the half red/half blue version of the block.  Isn't this layout amazing?!
Thanks to Sue, we had this wonderful red fabric for the backing.

Thanks to Marci, we have another quilt made from her scrappy blocks.  We occasionally send a box squished full of scraps and she turns them into these string blocks.  She has about three designs that she makes into different sized blocks.  These are the big 10" blocks.  Dorothy sent in this love rose fabric we put on the back.

The last one to share today is this lovely courthouse steps top sent in by Joni.  The secondary patterns in this one are amazing.  She also sent in this Boundless solid taupe backing.  I have a feeling this was a Craftsy quilt kit.  Sorry it sat in my so long!

The finished quilts keep coming!
