This week, a lot of the quilts we finished looked like they were all made from scraps.
It was a fantastic week!
Nann sent in this lovely quilt top made from lots of cross weave plaids. I sent if off to Laura, who quilted and bound it. It took us a whole to find a backing but Barb sent us this pretty fall colored one that looked great.
Here is a quilt made from some of Marci's super scrappy blocks. I love how it has a woven design to it. We made this one a bit smaller than usual and put some angels on the back.
This quilt top sent in by Jean almost had me running to my scrap bins. I think the squares are cut at 3.5" and you sew background strips to the sides of the square section. I will definitely be saving up some squares for this one. Jean also sent in this pieced backing.
Karen made this fun quilt top. She sewed up a bunch of her batik scraps and then used some ombre fabric for some vertical sashing. On the back were two prints we have already used on previous quilts and these were the leftovers. They fit perfectly. Off to Laura it went for some quilting and binding.
Wonder what we will see next week!

Oooh, ombre fabric sometimes really stumps me so seeing the last quilt here is really inspiring!
