I have been so busy the last two weeks, I don't think I have shared many finishes. So last night I made time to write a Friday post. And wouldn't you know it, I messed up with my password and Google put me in a time out for four hours. Sigh!
But I am back today with a few photos...
This quilt top was sent in by Janice. Thanks to Holly we had a nice patriotic fabric for the back. Our newest Board Member Bev quilted and bound this one, so it is already for delivery.
Here is another patriotic finish. This fun star quilt top was sent in by Mina. Holly also donated this backing fabric too. It is just in another colorway.
We have just about quilted all the RWB tops we have in our inventory so we will be starting to put together quilts using block drive blocks.
This lovely batik star quilt came to us all quilted. It took me a while to figure out how it was constructed. Thanks Bev!
Kristi made this amazing quilt top for us. I love the design and the colors she used. We had the perfect turquoise and orange backing for it. I think Bev quilted and bound this one too.
Glamping anyone? Love the cute little trailer prints in this top also sent in by Kristi. I think this quilt was made using a layer cake. Very simple and I love the staggered look.
Kristin sent in this fun quilt top. In fact, she sent in two that looked alike. This one was quilted and bound by Laura. Kristin also sent in the fun carrot flannel for the backing. We added in a small inset of orange so it was big enough.
Remember this quilt top I shared using some flannel scraps? We found this lovely teal and purple flannel for the back. I think it came from an estate sale. The dark teal in the top is actually fleece. I just quilted some horizontal lines in it - it was a bit of a nightmare to quilt due to the different thicknesses in the fabric. But it still turned out great!
Another Board Member made this fun scrappy top. Pam is a big Tula fan. A big thanks to Kat for sending in this purple and lime plaid fabric. It was perfect for the back! (I did have to add a tiny bit of another purple but I don't mind at all.)
And I am going to end this post with another flannel quilt made from our scrap pile. The backing flannel came from Kristin so this one is super cozy. We are making our year end donations to support kids over the holidays and we want to make sure they are warm.
I still have a lot more quilts to share. Hopefully I will get more posted next week. Today, finishing the newsletter is on my to do list...wish me luck!
