Because I don't have enough planned for 2014 (ha!), I couldn't resist joining in on Quiet Play's Sew Kitschy paper pieced Block of the Month. I recently remodeled my 1947 kitchen and I thought this would make a great wall hanging to add some kitsch to the room.
My last attempt at paper piecing was not a fun experience so I am hoping I will be more successful with this one!
We are starting with the oven mitt and potholder block (thankfully) so I should be able to slowly ease myself into this. While I may not share my fabric pulls each month, I will most definitely share each finished block with you.
Maybe by the end of the year when I finish this project, I will have the curtains sewn, the furniture painted and some area rugs!
