In a moment of weakness last week, I found myself doing a little retail therapy in some on-line fabric shopping. I have been wanting to make some fabric buckets for my quilting studio using Chevrons by Riley Blake Designs. The Fat Quarter Shop had them on sale this month so I went ahead and placed one of those late night orders.
Getting all these fabrics in the mail today after a busy week was so delightful! Who says you can't buy a little happiness. They must not be quilters!
I started with all the colors and sizes in my shopping cart and was able to whittle them down to these. A few of these colors are so yummy I might just have to buy even more yardage!
Now my mind is swirling with ways to play with these.
Sharing my little purchase with Sunday Stash at Finding Fifth and Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story.

Lucky you. I need me some chevrons :-(
Those are really fun prints. I can't wait to see what you make.
so pretty :-)
Haha... late night orders, goodness I do that too in the hope that no one is watching... and then the bill comes. Oops!
Pretty and your moment of weakness made me smile :-) We all have those, lol.
Who could resist all those bright chevrons on sale? And it is so easy late at night when the brain is a bit fuzzy! Have fun sewing up something amazing!!
Chevrons are so great and tempting! I don't shop late night, but my mom couldn't sleep once and ended up with a Vitamix! I bet yours was less expensive :)
Wow - those are wonderful! I think I might have a similar moment of weakness shortly...
If Happiness is buying fabric, I do believe I'm one of the happiest people on this planet! Have fun with those chevrons. :)
My wish list of fabric just keeps growing. I'm sure I'll be doing a late night order soon (and second-guessing the next morning) but it'll be fun when the mailman comes. :-)
Yes late night fabric shopping - an awesome indulgence.
Too funny! Indulging once in a while is a necessity...
