I have finished up a few little handmade items and I think all my holiday sewing is done. Hurray!
Now I can relax the rest of the week!
I made this table runner for one of my sisters. I gave it to her shortly after Thanksgiving so she can enjoy it this season.
I also made a similar one for a swap gift with some quilty friends.
I guess I didn't get a picture of it after I quilted it.
I stitched up these pretty pot holders and towels for a gift. I cut into my cherished Maureen Cracknell fabric but I think they worked perfectly.
I also made another set of potholders from some silly dancing vegetable fabrics.
I
really like these pot holders. They were inspired by this tutorial. As I
have shared before, I don't like to quilt through my Insul-brite so I
pre-quilted my fabric to a scrap of batting then assembled all the
layers between binding. I have a set planned for my own kitchen.
This will probably be my last post before Christmas. I wish those who celebrate a lovely holiday!
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Cynthia. Love those tablerunners. Thanks for the link for the potholders-have promised to make some for my sister and this pattern fits the request.
Merry Christmas! I think that gifting holiday items at or just after Thanksgiving is a great idea. :)
You made beautiful items. Love the Joy Table Runners. Merry Christmas Cynthia. Hugs
Merry Christmas! Love your gifts - all very attractive. Don't you have a great sense of accomplishment?! :)
Wishing you a happy and peaceful Christmas Cynthia:))
Merry Christmas~~ ENJOY your time off....
I don't like to do excessive stitching through Insul-brite, either,so usually stitch a large 'x'to secure the layers. Love both table toppers!!!! Blessings and hugs to you!!!!!
Love your table runners, but I'm also interested in the pot holders! Mine are so old and nasty; I definitely need to make some new ones. Thanks for the link to see hw you made them! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Enjoy your time off!
Merry Christmas!
I just used Insul-brite for the first time, and I'm very glad I decided not to try to quilt through it...
Love your runners and potholders! (I need to go check out that tutorial now!)
Absolutely LOVE that "Joy" tablerunner! It would look great under my "Joy" painted wine bottles, just sayin' :-) Merry Christmas Cynthia!
What a wonderful home made Christmas with lots of love in every stitch. Merry Christmas!
That potholder pattern is the greatest. Made 26 of them for quilt friends this year and will have to make more for next Christmas. Love the matching towels. I did quilt through the Insulbright so I'll have to find out why you don't quilt through it. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas! I love the runners.
Merry Christmas Cynthia!
