The idea for this scrap quilt may have been influenced by the heat and a sugar high from elephant ears.
This year for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, I used Sally's pattern and sewed up a cute little piglet each month. Want to see what I did with them?
Ready......
Set........
Go!
Yep...It is a pig race! And pigs being pigs, they are headed in all different directions.
(I warned you I was on a sugar high!)
I started by adding a flying geese to create the arrow point and then just followed that with a strip set to finish out the arrow. I then used some striped strips to create the lanes.
Silly but fun!
This quilt has already been delivered to a local kid's charity called Bags of Love along with a few other quilts.
My plans are to finish up my other RSC16 blocks into two more charity quilts. This fall, The Hasty Quilter is hosting 100 Quilts for Kids. I was worried it wasn't happening this year but I see there is now a link up.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I really enjoy seeing your piggie quilt every time. I remember I was so impressed when I saw how you arranged them in the quilt. In my mind, I had expected just rows of pigs but you really put it over the top with this layout. Congratulations!
