Every once in a while, I complete a bunch of blocks and find myself totally uninspired by the results. Such is the case for these blocks. Now I am hoping someone will take them off my hands and turn them into a quilt!
I have a total of thirty six (yep - 36) 12.5" blocks. All have a Kona Ash gray background and they are all made with Blueberry Park fabrics. I think I made two blocks of each print I used. This is an original design that I ended up not liking the fabrics I used and will need to make it in something else.
All that needs to be done is sew up the blocks and you will have a 72" square quilt. I will send a photo of some possible layouts with the blocks so the "winner" can see how they go together.
(But feel free to get creative and come up with your own.)
I am going to ask that these blocks are made into at least one charity quilt. You can give it to any charity you desire. If you need some ideas, you can look into the Hands2Help event going on at Confessions of a Fabric Addict or Covered in Love over at Kat & Cat Quilts.
I will ship anywhere in the US for free!

I would like them. I participate in a ministry and some of the places we provide quilts to are Beds for Kids, and a teen shelter. I'd probably make at least two twin size quilts with these blocks, I could pick up more of the Kona to float these blocks. I'd think of something wonderful.
I am an H2H quilter and I also make twin bed quilts and donate them to my local EVE shelter. I would finish the blocks up and donate the quilt to one of these two charities.
If I would win I would make them into a quilt for Sarah's Hands To Help as I have committed to two quilts this would save me time - I have one started but haven't thought of a second

Our guild works with Pilots for Patients and provides a quilt for new patients on their first trip out. Many in our guild do traditional quilts and I love that these blocks are a little different. Thanks for sending them out to a new home.
I think the blocks look nice! But I know how it is when they don't fulfill your vision of what you have in mind. I am joining H2H again this year and I would be glad to sew the blocks into a quilt for that. Or I might make a quilt to take to my local Hospice facility, which I do periodically. Our quilt ministry group makes comfort quilts for those with serious illnesses, lap quilts for nursing home patients, fire victims, and for an annual auction to provide scholarships for a youth summer camp. We would love to win this set of blocks. Thank you for offering them!
First, I can't believe you want to give them away. Second, I can't believe that you can't figure out how to make them special. I thought you were the queen of scrappy impossibilities by making something from nothing but I do understand and I think you are just being real generous! That is very nice of you. I would love to have them also, but you have plenty of takers already.

I would love to make these blocks into a charity quilt for my Quilt Guild. The guilts are gifted to cancer patients in the Lompoc and Santa Ynez Area. My goal is one qui.t a month which I am happy to say I have been able to keep.
My guild is making lap quilts for a local agency that works with children who have suffered abuse. I think we could get 2 great “boy” quilts from those blocks!

I would love to use these blocks for a quilt for the charity group that I quilt with..the Luce-West Mackinac County Comfort Quilters. We are a small group and have trouble keeping ahead of the need in our counties here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. So, blocks that are already sewn would be a boon to our effort. Oh, these blocks are so fun! If I were to get them, I would work with ledamewood (first commentor) on making quilts for the charity she listed. She's a real good friend of mine and we have fun putting together charity quilts!

I would love to adopt your blocks. I am the coordinator for Community Outreach for our guild and am always looking for blocks, fabric, etc that can be made into charity quilts. We donate our quilts to Hospice (both residence and community), women’s shelters, and also families in our community that have a need. I would love to win your blocks. I have many fabrics which match the ones you’ve used, in case extras are needed, and Kona Ash is one of my favorites, so I have lots of it. I would use the blocks to participate in this year’s Hands to Hands challenge. I participated last year, but have been worried that I Clint do it this year, because I wouldn’t have time to make a quilt from scratch. But if I win your blocks, I could definitely do it.

I am too late to "claim" the blocks, but how generous. The recipient will have some nice blocks to make a charity quilt.
My guild donates a quilt to every person on our community that loses their home to fire, these would work perfectly for those quilts.
My quilt guild makes baby quilts for our local Community Baby Shower twice a year. With 36 blocks I could make 3 baby quilts with the set. I have some lovely grey coordinating fabric that would make them more than suitable for this. We also make quilts for flood and burn out victims but the the baby quilts are especially dear to me. Blessings....the blocks are lovely. I would be happy to send you pictures of the baby quilts made from these blocks.
I lived in the Eugene area until we moved to Roseburg eight months ago. Eugene Mission, Comforts for Children, and Bags of Love (besides the Roseburg VA hospital) are still my charities of choice. I think the bright colors in these blocks would make a couple of great kids' quilts.

Oh, yes!! I could use your blocks!! I'd love to make some lap quilts for the nursing home I worked at until I retired last year. The residents absolutely love colorful quilts on their beds and also to use when they are up in their wheelchairs.
