Oh Scrap! : RSC Turquoise

Wow!  I cannot believe it is June already!
A new month means a new Rainbow Scrap Challenge color.  And the color for June is Teal/Turquoise.

I do sort my scraps by color and I have always given this color its own bin.

This weekend I finished up both of my "ladder" blocks and my Kaffe bowties.
I only made three "ladder" blocks because I also made some in turquoise back when blue was the RSC color.

For my bowtie quilt, I think I am down to needing only about 20 more blocks so I will be playing with layouts soon.

Happy Scrappy Sunday!

*********************************************************

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

I didn't actually have anything scrappy to share as I haven't sewed much this week with being at daughter's to visit out of state but I wanted to share this "new" old machine that I now have that just might be able to put together a new scrappy quilt when we get home - itsn't it a beauty. I will be checking in over the next couple days to look at all the links

Teal is one of my favourite colours. Your pretty scraps of that colour have come together well in that block.
