Same Old BS (Burgoyne Surround)

Back in the beginning of August, I did a quick count of all the projects I had in the works.  I was dismayed to see it has risen to 24 items.  Ugh!  Since then, I have been making an effort to get that number down to under 20 again.  I am happy to report, that number is now 18!

And I am still motivated to get that number even lower.

Remember these pretty Burgoyne Surround blocks I was making?

I just moved them to the design wall in my sewing room and hope to focus on getting them made into a quilt top.  I just need to track down some fabrics for the sashing and make a few more cornerstones.

I recently bought a lovely royal blue fabric for the backing so I am all ready to move this one to the finished pile!

My new goal is to get my WIPs down to 15!

Hooray for making progress on things! That is my goal this week, too.

This is going to be a beauty! And so good to be able to make a dent in your WiP pile.

I love those blocks! They almost tempt me to start a new project, not that I need to!

I love it when you post photos of these blocks. I lose myself staring at them - like a painting in a museum!

Haven't seen this project in a while! I bet those blocks are happy to be occupying the design wall. Best of luck on whittling down your project list!!
