Oh Scrap! : Orange

Time for a new Rainbow Scrap Challenge color.
May is Orange - one of my favorites!

Sadly, most of my RSC projects already have plenty of orange blocks.  I did sew up three orange blocks for my scrappy color block project.

I have a total of nine blocks now.  My plan is to make three of each color so I end up with a colorful lap donation quilt.

My quarter log RSC project is getting close to being done.  I decided to go back and make another gold and green block.

I think I just need 5 more blocks.  My plan is to make some in purple (will I get lucky in June?) and then determine what else it needs.  I might try and work in some warm browns but I will make that decision once I decide on a final layout.

My Rainbow Scrap Challenge design wall looks so pretty right now.  It is behind my longarm so this is my view as I work each day.  Lucky me!

Even though my RSC blocks are already done for May, I have lots of other scrappy plans for the month.  I am in the mood for starting new things!

Your quarter logs look terrific, especially on the black background. How large are they, the whole block and a little squares?

Such pretty RSC projects! I'm really hoping to whittle down the UFO list so I can start tackling some of my own scrap bins.

Fun to get a peek at your design wall! I love how the quarter log cabins are looking. Have I said this before - they remind me of bandannas?! :)

Your scrappy blocks are so perfect, Cynthia. They do look like a rainbow! And how generous to use it for a donation quilt.
