Even though I was out of town for most of last week, I was able to get the last of the required blocks finished for one of my Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilts.
I needed just five more blocks to finish my quarter log design. I had started this quilt back in 2018 and needed blocks in the color purple. I also thought it needed one more red block.
Here are all twenty five blocks up on the wall in no particular order. I am pretty sure I will be setting them on point but I have no plans yet on how they will be laid out, what I will use for a background fabric or if I will use a sashing. I hope to make those decisions soon as I would like to finish this quilt top up this month.
Now I need to choose another block design for a Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilt. I like to keep about three of them going at a time. And because I start many of them mid-year, they are always in many different stages of completion.
I think I need to do something with stars....

Those blocks make such a great design! I love how they look on your black design wall, too. I'll enjoy seeing what you do with them! Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
Love your quarter log design blocks. They will be a lovely bright quilt.
I admire your commitment to the RSC challenge. Not one but three going on! Stars would be a nice addition to that mix!
love your quarter logs!
Scrappy maverick stars in a 16 patch is always fun and scrappy! Just love your RSC quilt.
Your blocks are beautiful, and your quilt will be too. Good luck.
Oh, I like the looks of this one! And looking forward to your next RSC project.
Hi Cynthia, I really like all of those blocks. Looking forward to seeing your quilt top!
Love the Qtr LC blocks. The 9 patch just adds a special touch! and I like the way that look on the black!!!!!
I love these quarter log blocks..............as a matter of fact, I have a stack of nine patch blocks that I've been thinking about using just like you've done! But, I need to make a lot more to make the queen size quilt I have planned. You will have a beautiful quilt when completed. Nadine W. rnwillis@velotech.net
love that variation of a log cabin block
I love seeing how everyone's RSC projects look so different and unique! Yours is lovely, especially like the bright colors against the grounding of the dark background.
How fun that this RSC design is heading into the home stretch! I know you'll choose an interesting layout and I'll probably tuck it away in my idea file. It's full of stuff that you made, ha! :)
Love your quarter square log cabin blocks especially the tiny 9-patch in the centers! Great job.
I love them on point. Can't wait to see what you decide for setting triangles and sashing. Thanks for sharing with Moving it Forward.
Fantastic project for the RSC, it's going to be interesting to see how you set these blocks - they look great on the black!
