Needs a New Home!

Fall is just starting here in the PNW and that means it is time for the Quilty Orphan Adoption!

I went through all of my UFOs and right now I seem to be at least slightly attached to them.
But that doesn't mean I don't have items that need to be removed from my sewing room.

About five years ago, I started collecting up a bunch of light weight Home Dec fabric to use for making some little bags and pouches.

The Kaffe Fassett fabrics across the top are all slightly larger than a quarter yard.
There are also some odd squares and leftover scraps of some Cotton & Steel fabrics.

I have accepted that I am not going to use this fabric.  And because it is Home Dec weight, I don't want to use it in my quilts.

So I am happy to send it off to someone who can use it!

If you would like to adopt these, please let me know in the comments that you are interested.
(Note, your comment should be made directly on my blog and not through Bloglovin' - it does not allow me access to your contact information so I have no way of getting ahold of you if you win.)

I will ship anywhere in the US for free.

I will be selecting a winner from those that are interested sometime on Sunday the 15th so be sure to comment before then.  If there is more than one candidate, I will select a winner using a random number generator.  Please make sure I can get ahold of you!  If you are not positive if your email is available, please leave it in your comment.  Thanks!

The lucky quilter that is adopting these has been notified.
Thanks so much!

There are other items being adopted out by quilters so be sure and check them all out.  Also, if you have items you would like to put up for adoption, you have until the 14th to link up.  Time to clean out those UFOs!

Our quilt ministry group makes bags to hold school supplies which are sent to needy children in developing countries. Home dec fabrics are perfect for this mission, the brighter the better. We would happily accept these fabrics.

I would love to sew up several zip bags/pouches/totes with these lovelies! Small gifts like these for friends are always appreciated and are so much fun to make!

Such a good idea Cynthia but as I am overflowing with fabric adoption is not on the cards for me!

Just wanted to let you know, that this is a wonderful thing to do. In our quilt guild we are able to bring in things that need a new home and some wonderful projects have been made and donated.

It is always feels good to share with others. I gave some of my Kaffe Fasset’s fabrics to my cousin! In fact, I gave her the quilt I made - too loud for me! Going to try it one more time with Kim Diehl’s Lolly Pop quilt pattern.

I have been trying so hard to find and buy some decor weight Kaffee Fassett fabrics to no avail for many months.so disappointing to find that they are no longer made. I live in Australia and would be more than happy to pay you for these lovelies together with the postage.

Anne Andrew.

Great fabrics for all kinds of projects! Our guild has a silent auction with proceeds going to a charity and some of the fabrics would be perfect for those types of projects. Thanks for the offer! Carlynord75 (at) gmail

These scraps are wonderful! I'm a bagmaker as well as a quilter and would use them for accents and small projects, experimenting with combinations!
Cool plan to send them on!

I’ve been on a fabric diet (except neutrals and wide backings) for over two years now, so i’d love to infuse my fabrics with new life, especially since I just learned that a friend has a baby on the way.
