Hands2Help Finish

Okay, so technically this isn't a real finish, but I am sending off an older finish for the H2H quilt drive.  I have so many quilts around here, some really need to find a home!

Remember this quilt I made back in 2017 out of a bunch of orphan blocks? (You can see the initial post here.)  Since completion it has been stored away and hasn't seen much daylight.  So I have decided it needs to find someplace where it can bring some comfort.

It has been packaged up with this recent finish and is on its way to Bernie for an organization called Mercyful Quilts.

I am still working on finishing up a couple quilts for Emily/Quilty Hugs.
I hope to share those soon!

What a gorgeous quilt Cynthia! It’s hard to believe you created it from orphans. Somebody is going to love it!

That quilt is so pretty, and has such restful colors, too. Mercyful Quilts is the perfect place for it!

I remember that quilt! It was inspiration for one of my first orphan block pieces. I'm glad to hear it will be fulfilling its True Destiny and go off to its forever home :)

Lovely quilt Cynthia and it will be finding a new home and giving comfort. Shifting to your last post I'm pleased to see that I am in good company with plastic bins/drawers full of scraps waiting for inspiration.

Cindy - the quilts arrived the other day and I am thrilled! I love the layout of this orphan block quilt. Honestly, it looks like you designed this - the way the palette is so harmonious and the blocks are all framed in shades of gray. Just beautiful. Love the darker patchwork quilt you sent as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Two wonderful quilts for Bernie's charity! Those will be so loved. I do like this blue and white one. Great work with orphan blocks.

No shame in donating a quilt that isn't feeling the love in your quilt cabinet! Thanks for participating in Hands2Help 2020!
