I'll Count the Finish

I knew if I put my UFO fabric on my cutting board that something might get done.

I did get my tablecloth sewn for my little kitchenette.  I have a tutorial available for making the mitered corners.  This is the same technique I use for cloth napkins and curtains.

The fabric I used was just a bit small but it will work fine for right now.
(Obviously I don't use this space because there is always so much stuff on the table.)

Another finish I am celebrating today is I completed the log cabin flimsey.  I found a backing and I am just waiting for time on my longarm to finish it up.  I love how it turned out and I can't wait to share it!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Annie's now has a Charm Pack Club.  If you love these pre-cuts, you not only get two a month but you also have access to lots of patterns for using them.

Those log cabins are wonderful in the flimsy state. I hope this project migrates soon to your longarm!

I think there is a law somewhere that states: Any flat surface will fill up automatically!

Great that you got your tablecloth done. I too have to put things front and center to get my attention. Your log cabin is really pretty. Love the fabrics you are using.

What a sweet space you have there, and it's so pretty with your orange and turquoise colors! I'll have to check out your tutorial for the mitered corners. The log cabin flimsy looks wonderful - love all those blues and browns together!

Your little table is cute. And with a cute table topper too! Great. I am such a "piler" of things so I know what you mean about not using the space. I wonder what other fun quilty stuff you are working on now.

Love your table mat. I think all flat surfaces are subject to holding things that they shouldn't! LOL Looking forward to seeing your flimsy quilted. It is beautiful.
