I usually try and donate about 4 quilts to various organizations as part of the Hands2Help quilt drive. Sarah over at Confessions of a Fabric Addict hosts this event. Every spring I find myself frantically finishing up a number of projects for donation quilts.
With so many finished quilts around my house, I decided to do things a bit differently this year.
What a relief it has been!
Remember this lovely scrap quilt I finished last year?
Well, it had not found a home yet so I decided to send it off to Covered in Love.
There are very few florals prints in the quilt and the colors have a masculine feel.
If you want to read more about this quilt, you can read the original post. This design is something I will definitely revisit again.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

That is such a cool quilt!! I remember when you were *inspired* what comfort that will bring!
Nice looking quilt. It's very generous of you to donate it to charity.
This quilt is going to have such a wonderful home! I like how the gold band of color makes the entire quilt sparkle!
Beautiful! Whomever gets this beauty will love it. And this is a good strategy. I’m not fast enough to finish a quilt in the time allotted, so I’m thinking of getting one ready for next year starting now.

What a very smart idea to keep from feeling an extra dose of frantic. I think this is a beautiful colorway, although I have to admit that lately I've been thinking about brown (which is really odd and different, maybe just an itch I need to scratch?!?!?).
Beautiful color combination.
This is a cool quilt, and I love the colors and fabrics you use.
I'm so happy to hear you're giving this one to CiL! This is one of my favorites of your finishes :)
I'm surprised that it hasn't found a forever home. It is such a cool quilt. One that's on my to-do list. Good for you for finding it a home anyway. ;^)
That's a good one to send off to Kat! She's always in need of more gender neutral quilts for Covered in Love, Cynthia.
And we're very grateful to have it! I really adore that color combo.
Lovely colors together, your quilt is gorgeous!
I really like how this one turned out with those common centers.
