I haven't allowed myself to start something new in a really long time. But after finishing all the Covered In Love quilts and making great progress on some of my WIPs, I thought I deserved to start a new project.
Quite a while back, a friend gifted me with these three lovely fabrics. I had commented that I really liked these when she brought a quilt for me to quilt for her. She had some leftover cuts so she passed them onto me. They have been sitting on the corner of my cutting table since then - just waiting for some inspiration.
I knew I wanted to keep the pieces big because this quilt is going to be all about these pretty fabrics. So I went to my stash and pulled some pieces to go with them. I think I need one more fabric - I just haven't decided if it will be a gold or a pink.

What a great reward! I vote for pink as your other fabric and your pattern is a great choice. I anticipate seeing your progress! Enjoy our sunny days!
Gorgeous fabrics! No wonder you fell in love with them :)
Beautiful fabrics, maybe add pink? Always fun to start something new. For me, it's UFO year, and I should not even be tempted! lol I have quite some big quilts to finish.
You definitely deserve to start something new! That is pretty fabric - love the big yellow coneflowers - they will be fun in your design!
Such pretty fabrics, Cynthia. I look forward to seeing them all pieced into a wonderful quilt. All That Jazz is spectacular. Happy quilting.
what fun to start a new project and with those very pretty fabrics
Looking forward to your new reward project. I am glad you are starting something new, you deserve it!
You chose a great pattern for showcasing those fun prints, Cynthia!
Yay, rewards like that put a smile on my face! I'm trying to tie up a lot of loose ends before I start a new quilt. It's great motivation, but also evidence that I have too many projects going at once, lol. These fabrics will play beautifully together. Fun times ahead for you!
Oh that will look great!! and what a fun reward for all your hard work!
Oooh, have fun picking the last fabric. That looks like the perfect patter for those prints!
That's an interesting pattern, I cant wait to see how it turns out either!
it WILL BE FUN TO SEE THESE FABRICS MADE INTO THAT PATTERN, TOTALLY CHANGING UP THE TONE WITH TOSE COLORS.
