Oh Scrap! : Closer to some Finishes

I am still working hard on finishing up some of the projects I have around here.  I have one set of blocks I am currently sewing up into a quilt top.  I hope to share that finish soon.

I turned a few HSTs into another pinwheel blocks.  This is one of my RSC quilts for 2021.

This finishes up the quantity need to make this quilt.  Now I just need to add the wider sashing and cornerstones and this quilt top will be done.  I still have about a dozen pinwheels left but I tossed them into the spare parts/orphan block box. (Which is now overflowing into two boxes!)

I made more of these basket blocks too.  Hopefully soon I will be able to reveal what I have been up to with these.  These have taken up a lot of time over the last few weeks.

And what is this?  Something new??  Not really.  I had made these probably close to decade ago.  I think there are about 30 total blocks.  I have been meaning to get them out and finish this project.  It is a design I am hoping to maybe turn into a class someday.  As soon as I get some of these other blocks into quilt tops, this one will go up on a design wall and completed.

So six scrappy projects are nearly finished.  I am going to have a lot to share soon!

Checking the projects off the list one by one! I'm amazed you have a project from a decade ago! And that you could find it!

Can't wait to see what your plan is for the basket blocks! The old, but new, blocks are really fun - I love all the color in them. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Those pinwheel blocks would look good with black as the secondary sashing! The strip blocks are intriguing. . .

Pinwheels look great. They are a great way to use up leftover triangles.
