This month, between all of my other projects, I have been working away on my teal and aqua placemats.
I made four darker turquoise. I sure had a lot of odd triangles in this color that I just incorporated in with all the strings and such.
I also made four in some lighter aqua shades. The top right is one I made with some orphan bits I already had on hand.
Once I finished all the placemats in this month's RSC color, I decided to pull a bunch of scraps from my overflowing brown bin. I have already finished two!
The stack is growing quickly. I already have over 60 completed.
Next time I will need to photograph next to a ruler.
I always get asked the same questions. I trim these mats to 11 x 15". My plan is to donate all of these to Meals on Wheels in November so they can get handed out with one of the holiday meals.
I love that each one has their own character!

very pretty indeed...every single one!
Oh I love them so much!! Teal/Aqua is one of my favorite colors - these just sing!!!
I was wondering where you were donating all the placemats - what a great idea - Meals on Wheels! They will be sure to cheer up those that need help.
Gorgeous! I love that pile! I'm making placemats for Meals on Wheels also, but I only have a pile of 2 so far this year! LOL
Gosh! You are fast. I barely had time to make one placemat this month. I need longer months, lol. Well done, Cynthia. ;^)
Such a great project. The blues are my favorite :)
I love that you've already made 60; that's awesome!
Great job on 60!! Love seeing your crumb configurations!!!
Awesome job on working through your AQUA/TEAL scraps this month, Cynthia!! Your placemats are sure to bring a lot of joy with a special meal. Thanks for linking your post to the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge!
what a wonderful idea and gift to meals on wheels. People will feel special getting them and happy to see the pretty colors in their homes
Your placemats are so jolly. Using one for your Meals on Wheels food would make it a more cheerful occasion, I’m sure. That will be a huge number to donate.
Looks like it is the aqua-teal scrap's month for a lot of quilting mums
Those are all so pretty - even in brown! You are sewing up a storm of crumbs these days!
Your placemats are fabulous. What do you do with them all?
Now why didn't ! think of that = a set of teal and a set of aqua?
