Oh Scrap! : Lost Blocks?

Another Sunday and I don't have too much to share.

I wanted to sew up a quilt top this weekend, so I put all of my Scrap Mixology Chaser blocks up on the design wall.  I thought I only had two more blocks to sew up.  I was really disappointed to see that I need 10 more.

At first I thought I had a small stack of blocks somewhere but I did dig around in my sewing room and did not see them.  So this top will just have to wait.

I did sew up some other blocks into a top and it is already loaded on my longarm so I hope to share it on Friday all finished up. That is the nice thing about working on so many projects at once...there is always something to work on!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

The variety of the black/white side strips adds such energy to the design. But having to churn out 19 blocks would e a chore. Funny how much faster those original blocks were—a new idea, a pile of scraps, and boom.

Your Scrap Mixology Chaser Quilt is looking fabulous. I am sure you will have those blocks whipped out in no time. Thank you for hosting the link party. Have a very lovely week.

Hi Cynthia, I've done that before too! One day, you'll probably discover them, either in a place that made perfect sense, or somewhere that you don't know how they got there....life :-) Best of luck.
