Happy Quilt Finishes #23 thru #28

Yep!  I am ready to share six finished Happy Block quilts.

First up are some quilts others made using the Happy Blocks they completed.

The first one is this fun little quilt made by Debra.  She made all of her blocks with the same plane fabric set in some coordinating solids and then framed them up in black.  I love how she added in bright colors in her border and made mini happy blocks for the corners.

A scrappy back with some fun plane fabric.  Such a cute little quilt.

This one measures about 40" x 48".

I think quilt #24 has such a great fall feel to it.  I don't know if it was intentional, but I love those spice-colored yellows and oranges with the turquoise.

Thanks Sandy for inspiring me to work with those colors in the future.

I love the turquoise flannel on the back!  I was able to use a fun turquoise binding Beth prepared for me to finish it off.

This sweet quilt measures 40 x 48".

Chelse also sent in a sweet I-Spy quilt. I love how she alternated those light blue blocks with other colors.  She sent in her quilt all completed so all I had to do was get it delivered!

Her quilt was backed with a lovely orange print.  This quilt also measures 40 x 48".

Quilt #26 was one I put together to fit a piece of fleece I had.  I had two small pieces I was able to piece into a small back that would fit a quilt 32" x 40".

I used some very baby themed blocks to create a fun I-Spy quilt.  I didn't put in any batting because the fleece was really thick.  I was worried about it being too heavy.  It sure is a very snuggly quilt!

I had a lot of fun putting together this firefighter themed quilt.

I had received some strips of firefighter themed panels so I decided to use those as a horizontal sash.  These strips determined the width of the quilt.  I also used some "Cars" fabric sent in by Kelly and her sister for more sashing.

The Cars fabric also ended up on the back.

Quilt #27 measures 48" x 62".

And finally, quilt # 28 is all about ladybugs!

Thanks to a couple of ladybug prints Karyn sent in, so is the back!

I delivered a trunk load of quilts to the hospital last Wednesday.  Monday I will be delivering another dozen to Bags of Love.  Some of these quilts I am sharing today might already be bringing comfort to someone!

Thanks for all of your support and help in making this happen.  You guys are awesome!
(If you have made blocks and still have not sent them in, please do so soon.)

Hope all of you have a great weekend!
