A Few Finishes

It has been about a week since I shared some finishes.  Things seemed to have slowed a bit around here.  I think the holiday lull has finally caught up.  Hopefully after this week we start seeing quilts move a bit faster.

First up is another patriotic churn dash quilt.  We still have quite a few blocks in stock from the last block drive.  I really like this combination of big and little blocks.

A nice flag print for the back thanks to Karen.  I think this lovely Veteran quilt is the 14th quilt we made from that block drive.

Barb is one of the elves that make quilt tops from donation fabric.  This one was made from one of the Three Yard Quilt books.  I sent her one-yard pieces of three coordination fabrics, and she chooses a design.  This lovely quilt doesn't photograph well, but up close it is really rich.

We put a nice, dark blue print that was sent in by Lynnette on the back.  I quilted this one with some ruffled flowers.

Mari made this fun quilt top.  Love all that dotted fabric and the shadow effect.

It is actually a pretty tall quilt.  Poor Janet is on her tiptoes.  It is hard to see but we used a fun multi-colored confetti print for the back.  We are going to send this one off to a teen - it should fit nicely on a twin bed.

Most of the longarm quilters are back to working on Many Hands and Many Hearts quilts.  I am still getting pulled away for various meetings and fundraising.  Sadly, our suppliers of batting have all raised their prices so we are hustling to raise the funds to keep stocked up.  I appreciate all of you that include a few dollars with your blocks - it all adds up and makes a difference!
