Beth and Carol’s Quilts

Lots of quilts to share today!

Beth and her friend Carol have been busy making donation quilts and they decided to send a dozen to Many Hands and Many Hearts ❤️

Yep, they were all quilted and bound…all I had to do was add the label and get them delivered.

Beth made this one. I love the animal panel she used- it is so bright and colorful.
Prefect for lifting someone’s spirit.

A fun little giraffe quilt made by Beth.  Every time I see a yellow and black combination I wonder why I don't make one myself.

Most of the quilts sent were smaller but this dragonfly and floral quilt is a nice larger lap size.  Very simple piecing but the pretty prints are lovely to see.  Beth also made this one.

Carol sent a total of three quilts.  This lovely batik is the first one I will share.

I thought this hot air ballon one by Carol was a lot of fun.  Great pattern for those fussy cut balloons.

Beth made this sweet batik little quilt.  I think it is 35" square.  We do get requests for a few smaller quilts so I like to have them on hand.

Janet questioned whether I had the label on the right side of this silly alligator quilt.  It is lovely on both sides.  Beth made this one so she will have to let us know if I got it right,

Dinosaurs are really popular with young boys, so I was really happy to see this quilt made by Beth.

Next up is turtles.  Beth really did a great job taking a small piece of a novelty print and adding borders to make it bigger.  I know all of these will be loved.

And lastly, Beth made another quilt from some whale fabric. I love the big blue bubbles on the back.

Here is Carol's third quilt.  For some reason, I don't think I have a photo of the backing.  Janet and I ended up taking photos of over 20 quilts and maybe I missed some.  The leaf fabrics look like they are maybe hand dyed and real leaves were used.  Very intriguing!

I didn't get a backing picture on this one either.  I love the panel that Beth started with.  I also loved to look at the quilting on all of these quilts.  Beth and Carol did a great job!

I really want to thank these two for their generosity.  Our shelves are nice and stocked - ready for some deliveries next week!

What a great parade of quilts. I’m curious about the centers of some of them. By chance are any of them a fat quarter? Perhaps the Dino’s or ? These are very clever quilts. They will inspire a second look at some of my fabric. Hopefully not in a squirrel way!
