Many Hands and Many Hearts saw many small quilts get finished or donated this week.
It seems like we photographed quilts every day this week!
Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl sent in this bright and happy little quilt with her blue and red Scrappy Chain blocks. Her work is always so precise and creative. Check out the backing on this one!
Local longarm quilter Cindy snuck this fun little scrappy quilt in the bag of quilts she returned to us all quilted. These little quilts are a great way to use up some of those scraps.
This sweet little flannel quilt top was sewn together by Penny, one of our Board Members. I had given her a handful of bags full of flannel squares and this is what she came up with. Even though we don't make many flannel quilts, I still struggle to keep up with the flannel scraps.
But they sure make some cute quilts!
Denice made this fun little quilt top. The yellow backing was one I pulled from my stash. Janet snagged it immediately because we don't get many yellow backings. And Yellow worked so well with this quilt top.
We sent this one off to local quilter Laura who also sewed on the binding for me.
It wouldn't be a quilt show without a quilt top from Kristin. She is a very prolific quilter and we benefit greatly from that. This cute little construction quilt top looks even more adorable with the orange plaid backing also sent in by Kristin. Local longarm quilter Cindy did her magic on it - now it is ready to be delivered!
It is a good thing we are delivering a bunch of quilts next week. Our finished quilt stock is bursting right now - full of quilts ready to be loved!
The next block drive has been announced. You can read more about it on this post.
Blocks are already starting to arrive!
