Sorry I didn't share any finished quilts this week. But I ran out of treated quilt labels. The table I use to add mod podge to the labels is completely covered with fabric, scraps, and who knows what else. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, I will get it cleared off.
Then there will be a whole lot of finishes to share!
Lately, I have been seeing so many quilts with pinwheels. I finally decided to give in and get out some scraps to make some. I have a bunch of slate blue fabric I would like to use up. I decided to make my pinwheels 8.5" square.
I didn't really have a plan when I started this project but I think I am going to frame each pinwheel with either navy or gray. This will keep the quilt very masculine. At first, I thought I would use 2.5" strips for the frame but at the last minute, I decided on 1.5" strips. I really want the focus on the pinwheels.
Hopefully this week I will pull more some more fabric and make a few more blocks. I am thinking my quilt will need just 30 blocks. So less than 20 blocks to go!
What scrappy things have you been working on this week!
