Oh Scrap! : Flannel Progress

Colds and Covid have hit our area hard.  Almost everyone I know has some sort of bug they are fighting.  I myself caught a head cold - which led to an ear infection and burst eardrum - which led to vertigo.  I am not a happy camper right now.  Every time I try to get something done, dizziness makes it impossible and back to bed I go

.  Hopefully the pills do their thing soon and I am back to my regular self!

I did get a few more flannel scraps cut and some scrappy blocks made.  I have two patterns I am making using flannel leftovers.  These windmill blocks require lights and darks.  The other block has eight prints and one partial solid frame.  I will have to make a few of those to show you.

I hope all of you are well!

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:

I'm so sorry you have the crud. The ear and vertigo problems sound pretty miserable. Hope each day you're feeling a bit better! Those flannel blocks look like the perfect project for some simple sewing. Have a restful Sunday, Cyndy!

I hope you get better soon. You manage to sew some beautiful blocks. Now go back to bed and snore this flu away. 🥰 ;^)

So sorry to read about your vertigo. I hope the pills work soon so you are back to your tip top shape! Arthur must be bewildered at all the time you are spending in bed. I like your flannel blocks. I do need to cut some out of my flannel scraps! Maybe I will make this a priority in 2026!

That was one nasty head cold. Hope you are feeling 100% soon. It's miserable to be dizzy.

I am having a lot of vertigo now, attribute it to the gas pipe repair going on around us for 7 weeks now though. I am so sorry you're dealing with this, and hope someone is helping you handle things.

I hope you find some relief for the vertigo soon. So much sickness making the rounds and we're hardly into the winter season yet. Get plenty of rest, stay hydrated and don't push yourself too hard.

vertigo is no fun. I have tried the process and it always works for me, not sure if it will work for you, but is worth the few minutes it takes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQR6b7CAiqk

Not sure if the link worked, look upCarol Foster, MD Vertigo Treatment Oct 11 on youtube. It can work to fix vertigo for many people.
