I can't believe how fast this week zoomed by. I think I am going to spend the long weekend organizing a bunch of fabric. There is a big shipment of quilts going out next week and already loaded into my car, so there is some space to move around right now.
I also think I might get a bunch of Kaffe Fassett scraps out to cut. This quilt top was sent in by Kathy and I fell in love. I think it is a great way to showcase all those lovely prints. The pretty backing fabric was donated by Stephanie, and it was quilted by Laura.
Are you often inspired by the quilts we get?
My self-control is tested every day!

Love the fabric choices on that quilt, it's so whimsical and fun 😊
I think the holiday weekend took everyone by surprise because it fell so early in the month! That quilt is the perfect design for Kaffe prints. I never know what to do with them, so I just don't buy any. (But somehow I have them anyway...:) Thanks for the inspiration!
Yes indeed I'm often inspired by the quilts you get, and think, I could do that! I'm also inspired by the wonderful work you and your team of helpers do in getting these wonderful quilts out to people in need.
I'm inspired by your quilts all. The. Time. Please, stop showing lovely quilts. My to-do list is too long. Can you show some ugly quilts for a bit? LOLLLLL. ;^)
Yes, in every post I see finished quilts that I would like to make!! I'm with Chantal. . .I certainly have the scraps. . .just not the time!
It's always fun to see different ways of using up scraps. Right now I'm focused on UFOs, but once I work those down some, I'm going to be on a scrap using crusade.
How exciting to have a big shipment of quilts going out and having a bit of room to move around. :)
