Let's share some more finishes today!
We have had this quilt top donated by Caren for quite some time. We have been waiting for a backing fabric - we don't often get Asian fabric donated. But we did receive this wonderful vintage crazy quilt fabric from Nann and it looks fantastic. I took it with me to visit a sew group so I could hand sew the binding and everyone stopped me to ask where I got the fabric.
Some scrappy goodness here! Sharon sent in this quilt top. Once again, Nann sent in the perfect backing for it. Wanda did a great job quilting it up for us.
Here is a cute little tractor quilt. Sharon sent in the quilt top, and Cindy quilted it up for us. The backing was made from scraps used on the back of previous quilts. We don't let anything go to waste!
My friend Jeanne sewed up this little quilt top. She is a longtime client of mine, so when she finished the quilt she wanted me to longarm for her, she used all her leftovers to make this top. I used a pretty blue fabric Karen sent us and had Cindy quilt this one up for us.
Kristin sent us this lovely batik quilt top and backing. I love how she put the four patches on point and then added the pieced sashng to create such a wonderful patten.
Sharon sent us this bright quilt top. It is made from just two fabrics. Sharon did a great job letting the fabrics do all the work - and she still ended up with a lovely quilt. We used a backing sent in by Nann and Wanda quilted it up for us.
That's it for today! Hope you were inspired by a quilt or two.
The new block drive has been released. I have decided to call these Friendship Bracelet blocks. Thanks, Deanna, for suggesting the name. This drive runs until the end of November so there is lots of time to join in. You can read more about it in this post.
