Oh Scrap! : Day 6

I am on day 6 of a nasty Covid infection and it is the first day I think I am finally feeling a bit better.  Things like doing a load of laundry or cooking dinner exhaust me but I am able to at least get them done.  That is an improvement.

Thankfully, I already have some photos of some finishes ready to go for this post.

Kristin sent us this fun cowboy themed quilt top and pieced backing.  I think she made it from some leftovers because we have seen a lot of the fabrics in previous quilts.  This will be a great quilt for a young man.

This one is an oldie!  Nann sent the quilt top to us without the border at least a year ago.  I wanted to add a border to make it a bit larger so we waited for just the right fabric.  It took a while, but we finally received a fun brown and teal print that would work.  I think Nann sent in the fabric for the backing too.  The blue is more of a teal color - it is really a pretty quilt.

Karen sent in this scrappy quilt top.  On the back, we used a number of blue fabrics that were also sent in by Nann.  Others were leftover pieces from previous quilts.  We always try to use everything we receive!  A big thanks to Wanda for quilting it up for us.

Elana sent in this sweet little dog themed quilt top.  It also needed to be a bit larger, so Chris took it home and added a doggie border to it. Then it was sent off to Cindy for quilting.

I lost track of who made this quilt top.  It might have been Nann.  And I think Terry supplied the backing.  We didn't have a good red backing for it but I thought this green was a nice surprise.  This was another one quilted by Wanda.

Well, I am losing steam so I think I will end this here.  I owe a lot of people who have donated items receipts - please be patient.  I hope to get to them soon!

Hope you all are having a great weekend!

The new block drive has been released.  I have decided to call these Friendship Bracelet blocks.  Thanks, Deanna, for suggesting the name. This drive runs until the end of November so there is lots of time to join in.  You can read more about it in this post.
