Oh Scrap! : String Cleaning

On the night before Christmas....
I hope to be doing a little more string cleaning!

When I do find time around the holiday bustle to sew, I have been working on piecing the rows on this triangle quilt.  Four rows are completed with six more to go.

And because I can't seem to work on just one project at a time, I am also sewing the leftover fabrics into a stack of these blocks.  A little bit of "String Cleaning" you could say!

I hope all of you are celebrating the holidays with lots of family and friends and making cherished memories.  May there be Peace and Love for all!

Do you have a set size you make your string blocks? You do so many so I would guess that you standardize so they will work together.
I hope to get back to sewing tomorrow.
    Merry Christmas
    Pat.

Merry Christmas and thanks for your blog throughout the year. Your triangles are an inspiration, lovely warm colours. With your strings, do you use any kind of foundation?

I started string blocks with the soscrappy challenge but haven't worked on them for 4 or 5 months now. This has been making me sad. I have 2 more colors that I want to do then start putting them together quilt-as-you-go.
Sure hoping to get started on that again very soon.
