Oh Scrap! : Yellow

Time to get out the yellow scraps!

I don't often sew with a lot of yellow but thanks to a number of generous quilters who shared some scraps with me, I had lots of bits to choose from for my RSC "ladder" blocks.

A few of the blocks are a little on the pale side but I think they will play just fine with all the rainbow blocks once they are made into a quilt top.

*********************************************************

It is now your turn to share what you are making with scraps.  Here are the details for linking up:
  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Pale shades are still in the rainbow! I love the top right piece, that deep gold is pretty.

Your yellows and golds look great with the contrasting side pieces! These blocks are going to make an interesting design!

I am very sure you will be able to make those pale yellow blocks work! You and your magic will shine through and in the end...I bet it'll look like you planned every inch of it! #scrapguru

I'm curious to see this looks when you start putting all the colors together. I think it's gonna be really cool.
