Oh Scrap! : RSC15 Green

I have heard it is not easy being green but I had no problems sewing up this month's blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge with So Scrappy.   In fact, I think these are my favorite blocks so far.

I decided to go with medium greens.  I am not sure how big I am going to make this quilt and I thought this shade of green worked well with all of the other blocks I have finished so far.

The quilt continues to grow on my design wall.  These happy little blocks are on the wall behind my longarm so I get to look at them as I quilt.

The blocks right now would make a baby quilt.  It will still be a few more months until it is to a good size.

I shared previously that I store my 2 1/5" pre-cut squares in a drawer organizer.  This is an older picture - I now have about three of them filled.  Having these squares at the ready have made this project so simple!

Now it is time to link up and share what scrappy projects you have worked on this week.  Here are the details for linking up:
  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

I love your nine-patches! (I freely admit I love a good nine-patch.)
Can't wait to see the final outcome.

Setting the nines with the black really shows off the colors. Your 2.5 storage is a great idea. Are you using paint cards for dividers?

Very clever on the organizer - I may have to do one of the same, if only I could get organized! I really like your scrappy quilt.

I enjoyed seeing all of your 9 patches put together! They are going to make a beautiful quilt! I didn't manage a post this week, but always enjoy visiting the people who have linked up for Oh Scrap. Maybe I will pull it together for next week!

Paint chips! Are those paint chips separating the colors? I love the idea.

Ditto Judy H. Are they paint chips? Great use of them if they are.

Love the 9 patches also. I do like that medium green a lot.

Really Sweet Blocks Cyndy and they are going to make a wonderful quilt!

I love how you use colored cards to divide your precut fabric squares into color families.

Those green blocks are so pretty and would make a beautiful quilt on their own! It will be fun to see your quilt come together with all the different colors. Thanks for linking up to Main Crush Monday,

I'd love to play along but don't have Instagram or a blog. I'm just a sewer/quilter that's looking to see if you have other options for participation?

Maybe it's not easy being green, but it's my favorite color. Your quilt is growing nicely.

I posted a pic on Flickr and tried linking it to your post. It is there when I clicked on the link under the space where the picture should be. What did I miss to make a picture appear and is it too late to put one there? In other words I need some help.
