Oh Scrap! : Sampler Progress

It has been such a busy week for me so I was only able to get a couple of hours of scrap sewing in...
Isn't that sad!?!

But in that short period of time, I was able to complete two more blocks for my scrappy sampler.  The blocks took just minutes to sew but the hunt for the perfect scrap seemed to take forever!

(Sorry about the poor nighttime photo.  I promise to share some better ones soon in a post all its own.)

So I will be really curious to see what all of you sewed last week with your scraps.
I am in need of a fix!

*******************************************

Now it is time to link up and share what scrappy projects you have worked on this week.  Here are the details for linking up:
  • This linky party is for any scrappy project - It can be in-process or a finished piece.
  • You can link up your blog post (not your homepage please) or Instagram photo from the past week that features your use of scraps.
  • If you are linking to a blog post, I ask that you link back to my blog somewhere in your post. So if you are writing about scraps, just get into the habit of including a link as there will be a linky party available every week!
  • If you are using Instagram, please use the hashtag #ohscrap.
  • This is a party so remember to socialize and comment on the posts of others.
  • Following my blog is not necessary but it sure would be great if you do!

Sometimes it seems it takes me longer to decide on fabric choices than the actual sewing. I can relate to your experience. What fun blocks.

I love your block and notice the centers differ. Are you going to provide instructions for it? Thanks.

Great inspiration as usual!

It's so true about the fabric hunt taking more time sometimes than the actual sewing, LOL. Great looking sampler blocks Cyndy!

Love seeing your blog for my scrappy inspiration, and there is always so much I want to do! I agree with you on the length of time hunting for the perfect scrap. ;)
I haven't done anything scrappy for awhile, and I'm missing it. Worked on a baby quilt and finally got it in the mail, and this week will be a pumpkin pillow for my daughter, using paper piecing - eeeek! I've never done paper piecing so it will be a learning process.

Fun sampler blocks. Sometimes it takes me longer to find the fabrics than it does for me to make the scrappy blocks. Hope you can manage more stitching time this week. It seriously compromises my sanity when I don't get stitching time.
