Happy long holiday weekend to all of you in the US.
September means Fall is coming and I can't wait!
September's Rainbow Scrap Challenge color is dark blue and black. The first block I made this weekend was one of my zigzag blocks. The finished block will measure 12".
I started this quilt in June so I only have only 4 blocks finished. I was planning on making 12 blocks but I realize now that is not enough for a quilt! So I will be completing 20 blocks. I will probably make a second black block this month. So this project should last me until the end of 2019.
I am looking forward to seeing what you are up to!

Those will be fun and easy to make out of little leftovers! Have a great Sunday, Cyndy!
Lovely shades of blue! Enjoy your long weekend ;)
That's a great block for using up some of those smaller logs that seem to just magically materialize in the scrap stash. Enjoy your 3 day weekend.
Nothing scrappy here......the Dream Big panel awaits the final binding---yay! Happy Labor Day/Fall!!!!
A great pattern for a scrappy quilt.
2019? If I tried to remember each month that I should make a block or two for this quilt, I'd totally forget to do it! Fun to use the rainbow colors to use up your scraps.
Love the fact you stay up on the color of the month. There's a reason I don't do boms usually -- I always end up being way behind!
Your blocks turned out beautiful. I guess the RSQ project can be started anytime and finished whenever too?
I like the combination of white and gray in the background. And the notion that RSC can cross over from one year to another. :)
